About the La Sportiva Mutant
The Mutant has been primarily designed for trail runners where patented FusionGateâ„¢ technology integrates the lacing with the uppers, resulting in a reduction of inner volumes and increases adherence to the foot. Consequently, the technology promotes more precise dexterity and stability on uneven terrains.
The upper is made from a singular breathable, abrasion-resistant mesh to ensure your feet remain cool throughout the course of your run. SpyralTongueâ„¢ combines a traditional tongue with an integrated gaiter that avoids contact with stones and mud whilst running, which could otherwise hinder your performance.
The FriXion® FX Ultra Grippy sole is optimum for providing traction on slippery terrain, and triangular-shaped lugs are purposely designed for grip on mud and scree. Henceforth the Mutant is ideal for ever-changing ground conditions.
