The Python rock climbing shoes from La Sportiva are close-fitting footwear that feature an innovative hook & loop fastening solution that will enable you to snake up the wall with ease. The shoe’s closure works by blocking the foot in place during heel hooks, preventing the shoe from slipping off when completing this, as well as more extreme manoeuvres.

The heel of the Python is equally ingenious, using a very grippy, snug-fitting rubber that will not come unstuck, whilst combining the advantages of a shell construction with all the sensitivity at the heel of a traditional construction. This really grippy rubber can also be found on the front in an insert designed for toe hooks. The shoe uses a Vibram Xs Grip 2 compound for maximum grip.
