The outer fabric on the Rime Light IN Flex uses PERTEX Quantum Air material for increased breathability and freedom of movement. The body is filled with 40 g/m² OTI Stretch insulation for optimum heat retention and enhanced freedom of movement.

The hood construction is tight-fitting that can be worn under a helmet. Other features include 2 backpack and climbing-harness-compatible zipper pockets and the ability to pack the whole jacket away into its own pocket.
