About the Ride Shadowban

The Ride Shadowban is an all-mountain and park snowboard that uses Ride’s high-end construction to deliver a board that delivers maximum versatility and comfort on the mountain from the peak to the park, giving you a board designed to do everything with no compromises.

The Ride has used its Performance Core, which is constructed using Aspen/Paulownia with Bamboo to create a perfect balance of strength and lightness. The core has a mellow, playful flex which gives the Zero a nice and forgiving ride! Constructed with a Directional Standard Camber design, the Shadowban sports a directional shape that has more camber than a rocker, giving you stability, precision, and powerful energy transmissions but in a more versatile style.

The Shadowban features a Quadratic Sidecut that combines quadratic curvature, forming a blending of three radii to improve turn initiation and exit while providing the best grip possible.

Ride’s Slimewalls are a fantastic feature to absorb impacts and smooth out the chatter on snow or any surface you hit, these sidewalls are virtually indestructible! Impact plates, located underfoot beneath the binding areas help improve durability when compressing the board, preventing board breaks needed for park abuse.

The Ride has used Carbon Array Laminates in the construction of the Shadowban which consists of widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone that allows for rider input to be channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
