About the Phantom Snowboard & Ski Base Glide

Phantom 2.0 is an Environmentally safe treatment service that completely eliminates the need to apply wax to your skis or snowboards. Phantom can only be applied to new ski’s & snowboards, bought directly from Absolute-Snow.

Phantom is absorbed into the entire depth of the base material and then permanently bonds. This is a 1 time application and will never wear off, even if you base grind or extensively service your product. It completely eliminates the need to apply wax to your skis or snowboards ever again.

In independent consumer tests and via extensive feedback from our customers, Phantom performs on a par with a good quality, all temperature wax. If you want to enhance the performance of your product further, you are able to wax over the top of a Phantom cured base with a temperature specific wax. Once this wax wears off, your product will perform as a normal phantom base does, so you always have a good quality fallback until the next time you want to add a more specific kind of wax.

When you purchase Phantom, our workshop technicians will unwrap your brand new product and professionally treat it in our Phantom curing station. This process takes about 24 hours to complete and permanently bonds the Phantom product to your new base. Please be patient during this time as we rigorously check each application, so expect your new products about 2 days after ordering. When it arrives, your product will be in a wrapper with a sticker detailing when the phantom was applied.
